Families Forever, Cross the Sea...

The past two Fridays,
I have been blessed to enjoy the day with some of the most wonderful people in my life...

My Dad:

My mom:

And my daredevil of a brother:

Since Matt recently graduated,

and since he was SUPER jealous of my London adventures,

He and my parents came out to England and Scotland for a week or so.

Last week, we got together for a WICKEDLY fantastic night -

It was my first time ever seeing the musical, though I have much of the music memorized.

It was truly incredible.

I found myself in tears at Intermission - unsure of why I was crying.

Who ever wants to watch The Wizard of Oz after seeing that show???

Well, they took off this past Saturday,
but not before they dragged me all around the city to see the last of the sites.

(I mean "dragged" in a very sarcastic way.)

Look at everything we got to do in a single day:

chinatown

trafalgar square

Pictures with street performers...

(as a very necessary side note: Matt has an obsession with everything Scottish. This picture cost me a pound. Worth it? Oh yes.)

and then...the London Eye

It was a day that reminded me of how grateful I am for such a wonderful family.

I can talk about most anything with them -
including things they probably wish I wouldn't talk to them about. ;)

But oh how wonderful forever will be with them!

Now starts the 4 week countdown until I see them again.

Love you, Dad & Mom & Matt.

  1. Wow.... nothing about Emily. I feel loved. :) Well, even if you don't say anything about me, I will still tell you that I love you, no matter what. :P
