You know how some days you make brilliant plans like:
-wake up and go on run
-turn in homework electronically
- get cute
- go to the train station and buy tickets to Brighton
- go to Brighton
- have lots of fun in Brighton
- eat Fish and Chips in Brighton
- possibly get moderately sun-burned in Brighton
- take train home in time to catch one of the last shows of "End of the Rainbow"
(a show about the last days of Judy Garland's life)
- possibly eat lots of chocolate throughout the day
Well, I've learned today, it's not about failing to plan.
Sometimes your plans just fail.
What ACTUALLY happened today:
- woke up and went on run
- couldn't turn in homework because internet wasn't working
-couldn't go to train station because the tube station we walked to was closed
- didn't go to Brighton because it was really cold and we departed much later than planned
- got sad about not going to Brighton
- got over it
- hopped on a bus that took us somewhere we didn't know
- attempted to get on the tube again but couldn't because that line was closed too
- went on an adventure to a deserted/creepy tube station
- did the Hitch "Make the Pizza" dance when we got to Baker Street
- witnessed British craze over the Futbol finals
- visited the Sherlock Holmes museum
- took way too long to realize that Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character
- went to a bagel place that we thought was cute and foreign (just to learn that bagels are definitely American)
- got charged extra for sitting in the restaurant (like a whole pound extra. Crazy, right?)
- ate a piece of chocolate cake to make ourselves feel better
- took a nap
- had our luck change
- bought tickets to the most amazing show ever
- witnessed Judy Garland come back to life that night
- ate way to much chocolate
Want to see our crazy day in action?

and guess what's been in my head ever since the show?
You can't not fall in love with her.
