Last full day in London - what would YOU do?
Would you go shopping?
I did.
*Note: I've decided that my summer is going to be filled with skirts.
Forget pants.
Pants are Pant-thetic.
I'm going to wear skirts all summer.
I love skirts.
So, I bought 3.
8 pounds each - that's not too shabby right?
Then, would you return to the beloved Orangery in Kensington Gardens?
We did.
This was lunch:
Then, would go home, change out of your cute new skirt, and go on a bike ride through Hyde Park?
We did.
I was the ride's photographer, so this was my view:
But - can you believe it - I kept my balance enough to take some of these powerful action shots:
Aren't these girls so adorable?
Thanks for the ride, Bike.
Then, after changing back into one of your new, cute skirts,
would you go and get crepes at Hamstead for the last and final time?
We did.
You think we'd learn after the third time that our bodies just can't handle that much butter in one meal
- but, alas, I never learn.
Upset tummy?
Yes.
Do I regret it?
No.
Then, in the countdown of the final hours, what would you do?
Go see one of the most iconic musicals of all time?
We did.
Any regrets about my time in London?
Not a single one.
Well - maybe one.
As we walked home from the show, I saw a sign that said "Wagamammas."
You know, the restaurant we went to when we first arrived here, where we wagged our mammas?
Well, Ellie told me to "Wag my Mamma."
To which I responded,
"I'll wag my mamma all the way home!"
Teaches me for boasting...
Just for the record, I was true to my word.
I have loved reading about your London adventures. I'm so super jealous! I'm glad you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see all your cute new clothes in person! Mostly just because it means I'll be seeing YOU in person... but I kinda just want to see the clothes too ;)
ReplyDeleteyou do know you have to keep blogging even now that you're back... right? You can't just stop now that you are no longer in London. Your life does continue, and I would still like to know about it.
