Hello, Hampton Court, home of Henry VIII.
For your enjoyment:
With 2 full days left until the majority of us fly home,
we were all kind of museumed/palaced/historied out.
And we were hungry.
Touring Henry VIII's royal kitchens didn't help either.
We got an audio tour, which was cool...
But I found the secret to dear old Henry's lively spirits...
yup.
There were countless scandals going on around the palace even while we were there...
"Wood" you believe the nerve of this guy? Making moves on an engaged girl?
hehe.
Not that we didn't enjoy ourselves in a palace designed to boast of Henry's many wonderful qualities...
but we were extremely excited/anxious/desirous to leave.
Why?
Cause the cutest (and cheapest) little Indian restaurant was calling to our tummies!
It was my first time eating Indian food...
It was really good, but I have some awesome news...
I found a cure for the common stuffy nose!
Indian food!
Seriously though.
I had to go and get a McDonald's McFlurry just to calm my mouth down.
Other than catching up on blogging and finishing up collecting some addresses for our wedding announcements...
which I will be addressing while I'm in MINNESOTA next week...
Today's been really relaxing.
Funny story:
I forgot to mention yesterday that while Ellie and I were running,
a very fast,
very oblivious runner
came around the corner and ran
-at full speed-
right into me.
No worries.
I'm a tough girl.
Except today, I'm folding my arms and my arm seems tender to the touch.
Why?
This photo may have been enhanced to "accurately" demonstrate the severity of my injury...
or it just proves that I'm a baby.
Whaaa. Whaaa. Whaaa.
