Lemons and Lemonade

Sunday's Lemons:

(aka - what today was not)

- healthy
(bagel & cream cheese + 2 mini chocolate bars + spicy chicken pasta + chocolate greek yogurt)
- planned
(got lost somewhere in London trying to find the church building)
- clean
(unmade bed, dirty London feet, dishes/food all over the kitchen)
- productive
(slept in until 10, laid in bed some more, spent 3 hours commuting on the Tube)
- a "Mother's Day"
(without a mom to celebrate with and without international calling abilities, this day isn't all that it's supposed to be)
- Ellie-less
(guess who's not in my ward? Ellie. First day apart since we got here.)

Sunday's Lemonade:

(what today WAS)

- restful
(zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.)
- friendly
(I met a woman from Zimbabwe today. First friend in my new ward.)
- challenging
(guess who was asked to teach relief society next week? with one of my professors? in a ward where I know maybe 3 people? Me.)
- full of laughter
(just imagine typical, loud, American girls walking/skipping/singing down the street)
- baby obsessed
(Guess who got a message from her fiance wishing her a Happy Mother's Day just because he already has the faith that she'll be a good mother? Me.)
- covenant-minded
(favorite quote from sacrament meeting came from a young bishop from Ghana: "The covenant of marriage does not only focus on faithfulness to one's spouse but it also requires faithfulness to the Lord."
- perfect
(cause I got to talk to him. multiple times.)
